Children learn best when they receive individual attention. Sometimes it is difficult for parents to be able to help their children with certain homework subjects, so helping their child with homework can be frustrating. Tutoring can help kids boost confidence, give more insight into subjects, and develop learning skills. Parents can breathe a sigh of relief knowing their kids are getting the mentoring they need to do well in school. Our tutors are enthusiastic and can help develop a love of learning in your child, which in turn may improve attitudes towards school and studying.
Who Will Tutor?
The Homework Club tutors are dedicated volunteers who can help your child with English, Math, and Reading, among other subjects. We also provide tutoring for Spanish speaking students who struggle with the English language. Each volunteer has had a complete background check, so you can feel comfortable leaving your child for an hour or two.
This free service is provided on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. For those who would like an extra bonus, we are offering the Breakfast and Bible Club at 9:30 a.m. This includes a healthy breakfast and a fun Bible lesson.
