Come on in, grab a donut and some coffee
When you arrive on Sunday morning, feel free to park right up front.
When you walk in the door, you'll be greeted and directed to an area where you can casually visit or just observe. Someone will give you a weekly bulletin that we tell you what is planned for that Sunday. It will also tell you what's going on at Freedom Worship Center.
Feel free to make your way to our fellowship space
(aka He Brews Cafe). There you'll find free donuts, juice,
and coffee.
The kids have a place too
Our kids programs are close by. We have two nurseries (infants and
toddlers) where the kids play, sing, and hear a Bible story. We also
have a Kids Church. This is for all children from Kindergarten through
5th grade. They have a fun time worshipping, playing games, and hearing
a message customized for their age group.
Follow the music
At about 10:30, our worship band will start playing. Feel free to join in the singing. If you don't know the words, it's ok - we'll have them projected on a big screen. We like to start with
some upbeat songs and move into slower, reflective songs. You'll find
that everything we sing is all about worshipping and knowing God.
After worship, we like to welcome everyone, especially the first
time guests. If it's your first time, we'll ask you to raise your
hand. Nothing embarassing, we promise! We would just like to give
you information about our church.
Some other things happen (announcements, special presentations, and
other stuff). We do take up an offering and you're welcome to join
in, but visitors are not expected to give a dime.
The message
After all the pre-lims are done, we move right into the preaching.
Each week, Pastor Pat brings a message that is challenging, insightful,
and applicable. We hope you'll find that what you hear will affect
some area of your life. We often have a series going on, so the message
you hear will link up with the one before it and the one after it.
We make listening easy. We give you notes to follow along with and
we even give the answers.
Once the message is done, Pastor Pat sometimes invites us up to the
front to pray that we can apply the message to our lives. We usually
close and dismiss by about 12:00. You are welcome to stay around a visit for awhile. You'll find people at Freedom Worship Center are very friendly.
On your way out the door
As we dismiss, you'll notice that people are putting away the chairs and equipment. That's because we rent the building on the weekends. Occasionally we have a Sunday night service and will leave everything out. You're welcome
to join, but again, not expected.
We hope you enjoy your visit to Freedom Worship Center. If you want
to find us, here are some directions.
